Service Description

For Beginners or Intermediate Learn the basics or refine your skills from start to finish over 5 Saturday Mornings - Week 1 - learn to wedge the clay, centering and throw basic cylinders Week 2 - learn to make bowls Week 3 - Throw with intention and practise what you have learnt, refining basic shapes Week 4 - learn trimming bases, making lids and making handles Week 5 - Continue trimming, attaching handles and surface decoration Week 6 - learn to glaze using brush on or dip glaze and use decorative underglazes to finish your pieces Includes: morning tea, tuition, clay, firing and glazes. each piece will be fired twice and after the final glaze firing they will be available for pick up when completed. Please note: This is every morning @ 9.30am, please bring an old towel
